Between March 1 and April 6, 2020, I participated in the 36 Days of Type project. The goal is to create a new character (letters a-z and numbers 0-9) every day, and post your character to Instagram. Although very challenging, this project forced me to create new, interesting content each and every day.

I chose to take a nonconventional approach and drew 3" x 3" characters with pencil and pastel. At the end of the project, I wanted a way to preserve and present my work in an attractive format. A Japanese style stab stitch bound book seemed like an appropriate solution.
