The body of work included in this exhibition combines my obsession with fishing, graphic design, and art. All work involves some form of printmaking, including relief, screen, or wood inlay (printed on a laser engraver/printer). Most of the images were designed on a computer with the goal of simplifying the subject into basic geometric forms, then experimenting with patterns and textures. The three relief prints were completed during my artist residency at the Valles Caldera National Preserve in New Mexico during the summer of 2026.

Due to the nature of printmaking, a limited edition of hand-pulled; original prints are available. Please contact me at john@fatflydesign if you are interested in purchasing a print.
