Lunar Kanza

During the summer of 2018, I was asked to design a t-shirt, number plate, schedule poster and event button for Lunar Kanza, a night time gravel cycling ride under the full moon through the Flint Hills of Kansas.

This project was very exciting for me because it allowed me to combine my printmaking and graphic design skills to create a truly unique image, unlike what you see at most cycling events. The feedback from the riders was extremely positive. This remains one of my favorite projects that I have ever worked on.

Below, I have included examples from various steps in the process including sketches, typography, linoleum block, print on paper, as well as the final products.
