Valles Caldera Artist in Residence 2026

Valles Caldera National Preserve selected five artists to take part in its Artist in Residence (AiR) program during the 2026 summer season. I was lucky enough to have been selected. During this month long residency, I was able to immerse myself in the park’s natural and cultural landscapes to create original artistic works inspired by the setting. I also led two public presentations on relief block carving and printing.

The work you see on this page was created during my stay at Valles Caldera.
