Each fish was designed using Adobe Illustrator with the goal of simplification and building with geometric shapes. The pieces were engraved and cut using a Glowforge. Each one was hand assembled and tung oil was applied for the finish. A variety of wood species were used in this project. I used water based ink to stain versions 4 and 5 of the geometric sunfish.
